Health Camp @Kolara

The Immunology & Arthritis Research & Education Trust, has organized this one-day free medical camp for the benefit of public in Jambapura Village, Kolara District on 13th October 2022 (Saturday), in association with R L Jalappa Hospital Kolara, PG Studies Center Kolara , Bangalore North University  and ChanRe Rheumatology & Immunology Center & Research. 


Many villagers participated in the camp, and we are thankful to all Village Volunteers, MSW students - Kolara PG Study Center, Bangalore North University, Kolara, and Local School teachers for the wide publicity.


In total, 117 villagers attended the medical camp. The Trust arranged for free Blood Sugar Test and Blood Pressure Level Tests with the help of ChanRe Diagnostic Laboratory, which was hugely useful for many villagers. Nearly 104 people underwent Rheumatoid and Autoimmune Disease health check-ups and 1 person underwent the Reproductive Immunology and Genecology related check-up and investigations. Nearly 103 people were benefitted with the medicines provided free of cost by IARET Drug Bank.



Critically ill patients were referred by the doctors for investigations, further treatment and Follow-ups to ChanRe RICR and IARET will support their further treatment to the extent possible.


Necessary emergency drugs as per prescriptions of the doctors were dispensed to the patients in the camp, from IARET Drug Bank.


The medical camp was conducted at Government Higher Primary School  , and its organizing team consisted of  Master of Social work Trainees, volunteers from CRICR, CDL and IARE Trust, including Dr. Shruthi Desai  and Dr.Yogitha Chennupathi  Rheumatologists-CRICR, Mr. Sasikumar M ,Chief Physiotherapist -CRICR and lead by Mr. Rajendra Prasad, CSR in charge of IARE trust.
