IARET conducted a Health Camp @ Muddenalli Villege, Tumkur District under Social Work Rural Camp held by Tumkur University

The Immunology & Arthritis Research & Education Trust, has organized this one-day free medical camp for the benefit of public at Muddenahalli Village, Tumkuru District  under Social Work Rural Camp, on 31st July 2022 (Sunday), in association with ChanRe Rheumatology & Immunology Centre & Research and Hemadri First Grade College, Tumkur as a Local Organization Support.


The medical camp was conducted at Governament School, Muddenahalli village, and its organizing team consisted of volunteers from CRICR, CDL and IARE Trust, including Dr. Dhanshree Gavali and Dr Devaraj Kori, Rheumatologists-CRICR, Dr. Chaitra. S. Nirantara, Gynaecologist-CRICR and lead by Mr. Rajendra Prasad, CSR in-charge of IARE trust.


The team arrived by 9.00 am and the camp was inaugurated with a welcome speech by Mr. Shekaraiah  Asst. Professor of Hemadri College, Tumkur and followed by honouring all the doctors and volunteers by the Students and Teachers of Hemadri College.


Many villagers participated in the camp, and we are thankful to all Village Volunteers, Milk federation members, Local School teachers for the wi
de publicity.


In total, 165 villagers attended the medical camp. The Trust arranged for freeBlood Sugar Test and Blood Pressure level tests with the help of ChanRe Diagnostic Laboratory, which was hugely useful for many villagers. Nearly 140 people underwent Rheumatoid and Autoimmune Disease health check-ups and 1 pes underwent the Reproductive Immunology and Gynaecology related check-up and investigations. Nearly 126 people were benefitted with the medicines provided free of cost by IARET Drug Bank. 3 critically ill patient were referred by the doctors for investigations, further treatment and Follow-ups to ChanRe RICR. IARET will support their further treatment to the extent possible.


Necessary emergency drugs as per prescriptions of the doctors were dispensed to the patients in the camp, from IARET Drug Bank.
